The Psychosocial Studies Postgraduate Group was founded in 2012 by Siobhan Lennon-Patience and Jacob Johanssen (both PhD students at the University of East London). The purpose of the group is to get to know other MA and PhD students who are interested in and work in the field of Psychosocial Studies. We would like to organise events and conferences so we can get to know each other, network and share our research.
The group has a Facebook page and mailing list. In December 2012, a first conference organised by Siobhan and Jacob will take place at UEL.

Asta holds a PhD in Psychosocial Studies from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and has an interest in visual methodologies. She also holds an MA in Art Psychotherapy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Group Analytic studies, as well as a BA and MA in Fine Arts.
