My doctorate research explores how Black prospective parents of Southern African descent experience infertility and assisted reproduction as an alternative route to building a family?

I also serve on the:
1) Council of Governors for the Tavistock & Portman NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK
2) PROGAR: Project Group on Assisted Reproduction (a British Association of Social Workers BASW special interest group), London, UK

My work is informed by a rich multi-cultural background & over 20yrs social work practice & leadership in humanitarian contexts, specialist children’s social services & child rights advocacy in Zimbabwe, the UK & Europe.
