Tom Fielder

Tom Fielder is an Associate Lecturer at Birkbeck College. He has a PhD in Psychosocial Studies and has published academic articles in History of the Human Sciences and the Journal of Psychosocial Studies. His doctoral thesis was titled "Admitting Demons: Brexit and psychoanalysis". He is currently co-editing a psychoanalysis and fascism reader for Routledge, and also working on a new writing project at https://fieldnoteslabour.substack.com/ drawing on his experience as a Labour candidate in the May 2026 local council elections.
